In May 2023, Changchai celebrated his 110th birthday. Since the beginning of the year, the company has carried out a series of activities to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the founding of the factory around production and operation, corporate culture, brand image promotion and other aspects, and achieved good results.

In 2022, the company will fully complete the development certification and supporting verification of single and multi-cylinder non-road National IV mainstream models, achieve mass production and put them into the market.

In April 2022, the main construction of the factory building of Jiangsu Changchai Machinery Co., Ltd. was completed, and the equipment installation project was basically completed for trial production.

In February 2022, the company strategically acquired 41.5% of the equity of Jiangsu Zhenjiang Siyang Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. This is a relatively successful transformation and upgrading project of Changchai in recent years and is conducive to the extension of the company's industrial chain.

In November 2020, the China Securities Regulatory Commission reviewed and approved the company's non-public issuance of shares in 2020. In June 2021, the company completed the subscription, issuance and listing of non-public issuance of shares, raising CNYB 635 million. This is Changchai's second successful fundraising in the securities market in the past 20 years, laying a solid foundation for the company's future development.

In July 2019, the first phase of the Housheng New Energy project invested by the company successfully implemented production. From the perspective of product quality and production line operation results, the quality, performance, and production capacity all reached and exceeded the design level and expected goals. The quality and cost of the product have great advantages in the industry.

In March 2019, the company registered and established "Jiangsu Changchai Machinery Co., Ltd." After more than half a year of orderly preparatory work, on December 28, Jiangsu Changchai Machinery Co., Ltd.'s light engine and casting construction project held a groundbreaking ceremony.

On December 6, 2018, our company was awarded the "Outstanding Contribution Award of China's Agricultural Machinery Industry in the Forty Years of Reform and Opening-up" at the 2018 National Agricultural Machinery Industry Work Conference and the Seventh Council Meeting of the Fifth Session of China Agricultural Machinery Industry Association.

On August 22, 2018, Changzhou City held a meeting to promote the strategic restructuring of municipal state-owned enterprises, and the listed State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and Changzhou Investment Group signed an agreement on the transfer of Changchai's state-owned shares.

On August 26, 2016, the board of directors held an extraordinary meeting to review and approve the Proposal on the Transfer of 67% Equity of Changzhou Fuji Changchai Robin Gasoline Engine Co., Ltd. held by Fuji Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. of Japan. The transfer of equity is conducive to increasing the proportion of gasoline engine products in the company's business, and is conducive to the adjustment of the company's industrial structure and product structure.

On May 10, 2013, Changchai held a grand meeting to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the factory at the Changzhou Grand Theater, and nearly 1,500 guests from home and abroad attended the meeting. The conference comprehensively summarized the ups and downs of Changchai's centennial development, depicted Changchai's new centennial development vision, and provided a strong spiritual impetus for Changchai's new centennial development journey. The large-scale theatrical performance of Self-discipline and Social Commitment, Hundred Years of Changchai fully demonstrated the profound cultural heritage of Changchai for a hundred years to all walks of life, won unanimous praise from the guests, and also drew a successful end to the centennial celebration of Changchai.

In March, 2013, after more than a year's efforts, with the examination and approval of AQSIQ, the company's export products were exempted from inspection, which marked that Changchai officially obtained the exemption certificate and became the first mechanical and electrical industry enterprise in Changzhou to pass the export exemption from inspection.

On November 28th, 2012, the casting technical transformation project of Changniu Machinery Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Changchai, located in Benniu Town, Wujin District, was successfully completed. The total investment of the project was CNY 90 million. The smooth implementation of the project marked the solid step of transformation and upgrading of Changchai subsidiary.

On August 19th, 2012, after nearly a year of preparation and construction, Changchai Hehai Road Light Engine Base was completed and put into operation, building a first-class domestic industry with an annual output of 300,000 general-purpose gasoline engines and air-cooled diesel engines, 30,000 gasoline and diesel engines. A modern production base for diesel generator sets, water pump units and other products.

On May 22, 2009, the first phase of the trial production workshop of Changchai Machinery Processing Plant was completed and put into operation, and 10,000 high-speed and high-precision flexible processing lines for multi-cylinder bodies and high-speed and high-precision flexible processing lines for cylinder heads, which are leading in the same industry, were built.

On October 20, 2008, Changchai was awarded the "Centennial Achievement Award of China's Internal Combustion Engine Industry" at the 100th anniversary of the birth of China's internal combustion engine.

In January 2008, "Changchai" single-cylinder diesel engine was awarded the title of "National Inspection-Free Product" by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

In December 2007, the first phase of the 300,000-unit National III diesel engine production base, which is at the leading level in the same industry in China, was completed and put into operation.

On June 9, 2006, Su Changchai's A-share share split reform plan was approved by 91.15% of the votes in favor. The bottleneck problem of related arrears that has plagued Changchai's subsequent development for many years has also been completely solved.

On September 1, 2005, the 2005 China Famous Brand Products organized and evaluated by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the China Famous Brand Products Strategy Promotion Committee were announced, and the "Changchai" brand single-cylinder diesel engine was awarded the title of the first batch of "China Famous Brand Products".

On July 6, 2002, Changchai Company Limited held an economic work conference in the first half of 2002. At the meeting, it formally put forward the development strategy of "based on agricultural machinery, strengthening power, and entering the automobile field", and issued Changchai's "Second Entrepreneurship" mobilization order.

On May 31, 2001, Changchai and Japan's Fuji Co., Ltd. established Changzhou Fuji Changchai Robin Gasoline Engine Co., Ltd. as a joint venture. Changchai set foot in the field of gasoline engines for the first time, and made joint ventures at home and abroad for the first time to expand the production scale of internal combustion engines.

In September 2000, Changchai Company Limited was awarded the honorary title of "National Advanced Quality Management Enterprise" by the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, becoming the only enterprise in Changzhou to win this honor.

On September 26, 1996, Changchai Wanxian Diesel Engine Co., Ltd., the largest counterpart support project for resettlement in the Three Gorges reservoir area in Jiangsu Province, was officially listed and put into production.

On April 28th, 1995, Changchai achieved fruitful results in implementing the famous brand strategy. The "Changchai" brand trademark was recognized as "China's well-known trademark" and became the first well-known trademark in domestic means of production.

On May 6, 1994, Changchai Company Limited was established. On July 1 of the same year, Su Changchai's A shares were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the first listed company in the national agricultural machinery industry and Changzhou. On September 13, 1996, Su Changchai's B shares were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the only listed company in China's agricultural machinery industry that owned both A shares and B shares.

In December 1993, Changchai passed the ISO9000 quality system certification, established a perfect quality assurance system, and became the first batch of enterprises in the national agricultural machinery industry to pass the ISO9000 quality certification.

On January 22, 1992, Jiang Zemin, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, inspected Changchai. Since the reform and opening up, party and state leaders Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan, Qiao Shi, Wu Bangguo and Li Changchun have visited Changchai successively, fully affirming Changchai's development achievements.

On January 17, 1990, the final review team of the special safety enterprise of the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China announced that according to the standard of Safety Evaluation of Machinery Factory, the final review results showed that Changzhou Diesel Engine Factory had met the requirements of special safety enterprise. Changchai Factory won the medal of special safety enterprise issued by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry of the People's Republic of China, thus becoming one of the only two special safety enterprises in the country at that time.

In January 1990, Changzhou Diesel Engine Factory won the first batch of "National First-class Enterprise" honor.

On April 18, 1988, Changzhou Diesel Engine Group, the first cross-industry, cross-regional and cross-ownership economic consortium in my country's small diesel industry based on Changzhou Diesel Engine Factory, was announced. Changchai Group consists of 119 units, spanning 19 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.

In 1984 and 1990, Changchai made outstanding achievements in strengthening enterprise management and developing an export-oriented economy. The jiangsu provincial party committee and the provincial government twice issued calls for "the whole province to learn from Changchai".

In 1983, Changchai won the first batch of national quality management awards, and was one of the three award-winning enterprises in China at that time. In 1988, Changchai won the National Quality Management Award again.

In 1978, Changchai was one of the first batches in China to implement total quality management, and its leading product S195 diesel engine won the National Quality Gold Award three times in 1980, 1982 and 1988.

In the spring of 1967, Changchai designed and manufactured my country's first S195 diesel engine on the basis of national key support and development of 195 power. As the originator of China's independent development and mass production of single-cylinder engines, it was promoted to the whole country for production.

In October 1964, Changzhou Machinery Factory was renamed Changzhou Diesel Engine Factory.

In September 1958, Changzhou Machinery Factory successfully trial-produced the "Dahongqi" brand four-ton truck powered by the 6105 air-cooled diesel engine. On October 1 of that year, it went to Beijing to participate in the National Day review of the capital.

On January 10, 1955, the local state-owned Changzhou Machinery Factory was established.

On April 1, 1954, the first 30-horsepower two-cylinder diesel engine of Housheng Manufacturing Machinery Factory was successfully trial-produced.

In 1929, the 8-horsepower and 27-horsepower diesel engines manufactured by Housheng Manufacturing Machinery Factory won the gold medal at the West Lake Expo. The internal combustion engines manufactured by Housheng Manufacturing Factory drove the development of oil and rice machinery and agricultural machinery manufacturing industries in Changzhou.

In 1924, Housheng Manufacturing Machinery Factory successfully trial-produced a two-stroke horizontal big-head car, the first diesel engine, and used the "Savior" brand trademark.

In February, 1913, Housheng Manufacturing Machinery Factory, the predecessor enterprise of Changchai, was founded by Mr. Xi Jiuru, a national entrepreneur in Changzhou, with patriotic enthusiasm and conscience, with the aim of saving the country through industry and the responsibility of revitalizing the national economy. It was the first machinery factory in Changzhou and one of the earliest professional manufacturers of internal combustion engines in China. At that time, the Health and Welfare Factory successfully imitated an 8-horsepower fuel engine.
